AKG K1000 - Possible return to production

An updated K1000 with a different look would be pretty sweet. I'd buy one.

Though I can understand why someone who owns a K1000 wouldn't want them to improve it, I certainly hope they do.

True, but even if the msrp climbs to $1,200, I'm sure it would be fairly easy to buy it much cheaper than that, at least in the USA.

EDIT: At least cheaper than it is to buy used now.

But from reading the reply I received when contacting AKG about a worthy K1000 successor (or revival) it certainly don't look too promising.
