I've recently picked up an AK240 and a pair of Audeze LCD-XC. I'd like to drive the headphones using the AK240's balanced output but I'm struggling to find a suitable adaptor. Does anybody have any experience or recommendations (I'm based in UK)?

Double Helix Cables can do the job for you. Peter is currently making an AK240 balanced adapter for connecting into my Abyss AB-1266 using his Complement 3 cable, although the headphone terminations can be varied for use with Audeze, Sennheiser, Ultrasone, etc - see below illustration for an idea of the build quality.
