So I  these are a little heavy on the bass side, want to make it less muddy and more balanced. What's the optimal itunes balance for them to make them the most clear? Screen cap balancer please. Here is what I have it at now.

That looks about right. You could also set it at the "Treble Booster" setting, and modify the high and mid ends up or down to suit your taste. The Studio version of these seems to fix this problem though.

I think I might have the studio version. What would doing that to the equilizer effect if I do, would it make the sound worse?

EDIT: Wait, are the studio ones the over ear headphones, b/c I have the on ear ones.

You have the original versions, which are DJ headphones. With those, just use Treble Booster, and alter the end it changes, up or down, to fit your needs.

Anyone else have insight into what a good balence is for these?

Most would recommend the Treble Booster function. After that, it's all subjective to you. You make it your idea of flat. Everybody will hear a different flat the majority of the time. It's hard to find people with the exact same hearing and interpretation.

treble bost sounds really good with tma1 studios and a tube amp.

They scale nicely indeed, try pairing them with a bright amp to bring the magic.

TMA-1 + Fiio E17 + 6 treble = a headphone that punches WAAAAYYY above it's price point!
