This is really nice!
Not sure if it was intentional but your wooden work surface makes an amazing backdrop for the build photos.

Thanks! That used to be my desk top, I downsized my desk and repurposed the wood table top for my workbench.

No problem, I'll post some more pics as I move along.
Really nice, Keenan. A picture being worth a thousand words certainly holds true here.

Thanks! Believe it or not, there are even more pictures than the ones I posted for instructional reasons, just showed the highlights. Maybe posting some of these ahead of time will give people an idea of what they'd be getting themselves into. I'll probably do the main PCB next. Once it's populated, it drops in perfectly onto the tube pins and you solder it in place, easy peasy.

Here are some more photos, assembling the main circuit PCB and adding to the main chassis. The PCB drastically simplifies the work of building the amplifier.

The first post has the estimated cost of 2k. There is not a parts list released at this time.

Thanks.

I'm interested. I think I could build this based on the brilliant images I've seen so far. Another interest is amateur radio, and I have some soldering skill from that.

Yes, I've planned this amplifier to be very easy to build. There's a little bit of point-to-point wiring, but even that is simple. The most dexterity will be needed to solder the output switch to its PCB, but even that I think is very manageable. All the work I've shown so far I did in less than 2 hours.

So I'm already thinking of capacitor rolling. I have a problem.
