Hi there,

So I've been using my current setup for a little over year now (HD650s+Aune T1), and while I have by no means found it an unpleasent experience, I think that a change in sound signature is in order. At the moment I'm finding that my music sounds quite sterile and unlively, and I was wondering if I should purchase an alternate pair of headphones or change my amp/dac, or just use different tubes. Any suggestions would be awesome!

It would be helpful if you state what sonic characteristics you are looking for in new gear (i.e. bass, mids, neutrality, soundstage etc) and what genres you listen to. Also if you mention your budget, you will get some suggestions that will likely get you the best bang for your buck in regards to the sound you are after.
