I want to be able to use my $$$ cables with all my phones. Anyone know if this can be done on the TH-900? Who might do it? Thanks guys.

I personally wouldnt recommend that. if you wanted to cable swap you should of got the 900mk2 as it has a detachable cable and its easier to find after market cables for that very reason for thoes cans.

I wouldnt get the 900s modded enjoy them for what they are. but if you're insistent on changing the cables i would maybe recommend if possible 4.4 so at least you're getting a stronger balanced connection that is future proof.

You want to change your 6.5 connector to a 3.5 connector ? Im far away from you but my shop just removes the 6.5 snd installs a 3.5. I have seven TH900s. Three have 4.4 , three are 3.5 , one has 2.5

No, I want to get rid of the stock cable and install female 3.5mm jacks so I can use the same cord as my Sony Z1R.

I see you want to be able to remove the cable. It can be done but not easy to find a guy who will do it. I bought them from a guy who did it for him. There was a guy on HF that did it but theres a big waiting time.
