I have some HifiMan Sundaras and they have separate L/R 3.5mm connections, so ideally I'd like a boom mic similar to this (https://www.audeze.com/products/lcd-gx), that has 3.5mm connections and doesn't cost £100.
I was thinking of purchasing one of these for the left (https://www.v-moda.com/us/en/products/boompro-microphone) and a matching non-microphone cable for the right.
My question is, what sort of adapter will I need to join them so they connect to my Xbox controller?
I was hoping something like this would do the trick (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B075WV6HD2/ref=sspa_mw_detail_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but every one I see are labelled with mic/headphone inputs so I'm not sure if it will pass through the headphone sound too on the side with the mic?
