Action against Tarik and Seiko_Citizen

In that case, when I file the report with the police how do you want me to prove it? Do you want 3rd party witnesses? Since I am the victim. I want to clear my name.

I have contacted local authorities with (tarik's) details to the police. The police said that he will investigate and that he will take actions against him. The police does know that I have returned the items to their owners

Update: I thought I will keep you up to date on this matter. However the sargent told me that he may caution tarik about internet fraud. Tarik's parents have been notified about this matter. His parents are also apoligising to me, over their son's action.

The police however did say that if tarik re-offended that he will not be so fortunate.

That said... It is now up to the investigating officers on whether to take further actions against tarik or not.

You people suck and should be ashamed of yourselves. Giving the amps back is too little too late and youre a imbecile and un-Australian. In fact, you would have kept the amps if no-one kicked up such a fuss. Shame on you derolicts. Many failures await you in your life.

I come here to be a reasonable head-fier, I never had the intention of ripping ANYONE off. I have conducted some small sales after this incident, which they have gone smoothly. Also tarik now has a mark against his name for such activites.

Personally after reading this thread I will never deal with either of you, ever.

Because of people like you and the scams they pull, people don't ship overseas, and/or don't trust others quite as easily anymore. We're here to share and relate our experiences of hi-fi audio gear, and whilst some do indeed make money off the backs of some of us with the sole intention of making a profit, most of us I believe, are honest, decent head-fiers who just want to keep trading/buying/selling gear at good prices to people who wish to heighten their music listening experience.

You should not only be ashamed of yourself, but give those amps' owners the prices of their amps in cash for the time they were taken away from them and the trouble and stress you put them though. THAT is decency, soemthing which I'm sure, someone like you does not understand too well at all.

Good luck to the people who were ripped off, and to the rest of you, don't put off selling/buying/trading gear on head-fi because of this matter. As proven by this thread, noone will put up with scam, and people will help in getting the matter sorted out.

Don't let the few dishonest ones influence your opinion about the rest of us

Doesnt really matter if someone tries to scam you, you have his name and address right? then just pay him a little visit, simple as that. I'm sure that face to face that person will be most happy to give you back your gear and pay for the trip to come pay him a happy little visit

Personally if I have 800USD to spend on headphones ive got just as much for a plane ticket which will be paid back
