Crossfeed is an intentional crosstalk mainly meant for reducing channel separation at low frequencies. You have mixed up crossfeed with crosstalk.
.

Yup.  Crossfeed also has delays of some sort in the crossfed channel to mimic the time delay difference of sound reaching the near and far ear coming from a speaker to one side of your head. About 300-400 micro seconds.

It means changing the vacuum tube on an amp (or any tube based equipment actually) to a compatible tube. Different tube (of the same compatibility) might have different internal construction, so changing tube might change the sound. Tubing rolling is basically where you are experimenting with multiple tubes to find the best sound tube to pair with the headphone / speaker. The 'rolling' part refers to the fact that vacuum tubes are cylinder shape and tend to roll on the table. The same term further extends to 'opamp rolling', meaning experimenting with different operational amplifier chip, though they don't actually 'roll' on the table anymore.

I thought the rolling part came from the gentle rocking motion used to stick the tubes in?

Aw heck, how 'bout a little bump:

S/PDIF = Sony/Philips Digital interconnect Format

Basically, the consumer version of the AES/EBU (Audio Engineering Society/European Broadcast Union) digital interconnect standard.

It specifies the data link layer protocol and physical standards for consumer digital interconnects.
It's where Toslink optical digital connectors became standard, and includes the spec for RCA connectors use as digital interconnects.

The AES/EBU pro standard uses XLRs.
