Acoustune HS2000MX Flagship Model
I just got my Acoustune HS2000MX (SHO ‘笙’) mk II over the weekend. I didn't think that I would get another single DD IEM so soon and yet here I am
Nice!
Did u get the aftermarket acoustic chambers (there are a total of 5 of these), that can change the sound.
I think this MK2 variant is the world's first IEMs with replaceable acoustic chambers!
Just plug out a holding pin, and you can stuff the new chamber inside, quite an innovative concept. Tested it at CanJam Singapore and was quite amazed by this IEM. Couldn't afford it though haha.
I only tried the stock chamber ACT01 of the OG SHO and ACT05 of the mk2. I'll look around and try the other modules when I have chance.Nice!

I agree it's so cool. Eartips rolling, cable rolling, now chamber rolling hahaha

I know right!!?!Only cost ~$10k for all 5
By the way I just checked, it's 900 SGD for ACT01-ACT04 and 1000 SGD for ACT05, so it's less than half of that for the whole collection.Only cost ~$10k for all 5
I have all except 05.. My fav by far is still 04...
Can you briefly describe them, I'm interested in knowing roughly how they sound, especially how 02-04 compared to 01I have all except 05.. My fav by far is still 04...
To put it simply: With 01 being neutral, 02 is a +1 on bass, -1 on detail, 03 is a +2 on bass, -1 on detail and 04 is a +1.5 on bass with no loss to detail. Can you briefly describe them, I'm interested in knowing roughly how they sound, especially how 02-04 compared to 01

This topic is gold as I am contemplating picking up the MK 2. Where can you purchase the chambers?

Love your setup and would love to hear your opinions about the Accoustune. Most of the reviews on YouTube are all Japanese :/.To put it simply: With 01 being neutral, 02 is a +1 on bass, -1 on detail, 03 is a +2 on bass, -1 on detail and 04 is a +1.5 on bass with no loss to detail.

Are there any major differences from the original to the MK II vice the ACT05 that accompanies the MK II? I am debating getting the MKII but am afraid I will be unable to purchase the ACT01 that seems to only come stock with the original HS2000MXI just got my Acoustune HS2000MX (SHO ‘笙’) mk II over the weekend. Same thoughts and debating buying SHO or not....but having heard both versions, I would be very happy with the OG and the extra cash. Whilst there were subtle differences, it was neither here nor there for me. Both were good, just slightly different. I was reading last night somewhere that ACT01 will be discontinued (or only available with Mk1. I also read that ACT06/07 are also almost ready so more options as add ons. The additional options make me lean towards Mk1 despite that ACT05 will only be available with Mk2.
This site has some nice info on SHO

If you search Acoustune on the site they have a few more articles too.
Has anyone compared it to Z1R or Turii Ti? Myrinx drivers seems to be only Acoustune thing

Cheers mate. It seems that I can purchase the AC05 separately without having to buy the MkII. I'm in the office now but Ill post the lin once I get home. Thank you so much for the feedback, I think you helped me make my decision . I agree on the OG plus cash...that and I prefer blue over red any day of the week lol.Same thoughts and debating buying SHO or not....but having heard both versions, I would be very happy with the OG and the extra cash.
