Acoustic Research Mysterious New Audiophile DAP

  However, as the greedy Koreans launch their AK380 @ $3500 I'd say I'm just going to stick with my desktop combination of Weiss DAC2 @ $1200, SPL Phonitor2 @ $1400 and HD800 @ $900

AK company is just insane...

Audiophile is a truly strange market sector which allows monopoly.
Music instrument market is similar. Some good Gibson guitars cost 3k easily.
But, this DAP market should bring to question since what they're using for making DAPs are worse component and firmware than that of usual android smartphones which are priced at $120.

In terms of hardware design and firmware, LG's $120 android smartphone is much better than the whole AK series.

In order to format your 64GB TF card to fat32, you are going to need a card reader, fat32 tool. Also, you need winhex to clone the old 32GB TF card to let the AR-M1 recognize your new card.
Since I read these from the Chinese Forum erji.net, the files are all from pan.baidu.com.
For fat32 formation:

Winhex

also you need to modify something in the MBR or some where a like.
the pic-tutorial below is in Chinese :p

I hate to bring an old thread backup but if anyone can help me find these links I will greatly be thankful to them.

I hate to bring an old thread backup but if anyone can help me find these links I will greatly be thankful to them.

I have it. I actually requested the files from the Chinese site last year when my internal MicroSD died.
Here's the link

I was lucky to have the internal MicroSD replaced with a 64GB by an authorized repaired center in Hong Kong. They mentioned spending a few days testing various MicroSD before they found one that worked in the AR-M1. The MicroSD should be from the ZEN X-Fi3 because it was renamed to that when I received it back.

Let me know if the file works for you and maybe you can translate to an English version for the rare AR-M1 owners. If you want, maybe I can dissemble the AR-M1 and see what MicroSD they've used.
