FiiO M5, Shanling M0 both have BT connections that good with aptX HD and LDAC, which is considered to be superior to aptX HD.
Ey, I’ve really enjoyed Shanling’s products, but the M200 was more powerful than the M0 and M1 (and a bit better with full sized headphones), so I think it was designed with a better analog/amp design (which is quite important), good DAC design, and those make a more significant difference than aptX HD vs LDAC. Considering Drop just had a clearance sale for $100, it competes more with like a Radsone ES100 and Bluewave GET, outclassing those sonically, and happens to have the (clumsy) ability to store and playback it’s own songs.

Absolutely agree. I always said that the M200 was a great sounding DAP. Most of my criticisms were based in the context of the initial MSRP of $399. For $100 it's worth picking one up.

Alas, it looks like it was a “last run” and the drop is no longer active.

Special thanx to Sonic Katana for sharing me version 1.0.754.

Procedures to update firmware
1. Download and unarchive the firmware file ARM200FW.IMG to the computer.
2. Connect AR-M200 to the computer with USB-A to USB-C cable.
3. Copy the file into the root level of Internal Storage of AR-M200.
4. Ensure that the file has been fully copied into the player.
5. Without disconnecting M200, press HOME/MENU button twice to execute the update.
Please do not interrupt the firmware update process until completion.

My M200 sounds very good, full and warm, on bluetooth AptX at volume 68. But the volume is very low with headphone jack, both 3.5 and 4.4, even at the max (150?) still not as loud as bluetooth at less than 50% of the max volume. Also the sound signature is very different from bluetooth, somewhat thin and cold.

Is there anything wrong on my setting or just something is broken? I've upgraded firmware twice, first to 1.0.752 and then to 1.0.754.

More information: I tried several earbud: IMR-R1, Audezee iSine20, Hifiman R600, KZ AS16, Apple Earbud, all on 3.5 port, some on 4.4 as well. All sound similar, very low volume. Playing vocal seems revealed more: guitar or pianos are very forward and sound fine, but voice sounds deep behind and hollow.

Can anyone help?

...Can anyone help?
Try disabling the equalizer: Music > Music Settings > Equalizer > Normal
If this doesn't help then try: Settings > Reset All Settings
I listen output 3.5 at volume 115-125 on bluetooth and SDcard. At 68 very low volume.
Maybe your source gives such a powerful signal that you can comfortably listen to 68. What is your source?

Equalizer has always been set to "Normal" and I did reset several times.

68 volume was with bluetooth output (I was using Kailuhong S128 bluetooth earbud, which has AptX and is current sold on Amazon for $15.99, havinig a surprisingly good sound with its 10mm driver. But it has channels reversed. I cut the top curved part of the ear tips and put the left bud into my right ear, which even had a better fit)
