Doesn't look like 8/10 to me, but who am I?

Oh, you should have posted this in the Member's Lounge IMO.

Yea right - looks more like a 6/10 max - the wear on the earpads probably matches the wear on the drivers.

I don't know the guy, but the pads and headband have nothing to do with the headphone working properly. Also, the headband is notorious for unraveling like that. Both the headbands and earpads are easily replaceable on this headphone. I'd probably rate them a 7/10.

Still, the price is far too high. I sold my pair in near perfect condition(headband had the same effect) for $500.

That's because you didn't add the $500 waddragon flipping charge.

The AudiogoN scale only rates physical appearance. Obviously, physical appearance is important for audio electronics.

Just to point out for those who don't know. The CD3000 DOES NOT use the R10 driver. Like most of his flip adverts theres a very generous sprinkling of misinformation about the goods concerned.

Thanks for pointing that out. Their rating scale is completely bogus, imo.

Of course, I care about physical condition, but function is first and foremost, if not at least just as important. I can't see how every rating about "5" only mentions physical appearance.

8/10 with worn out and ripped earpads? I think not...
..and the $3k price is just hilarious.
