Also, when I try to go to the User Manual section of the FIIO website, to download a user manual for the K9 Pro, nothing happens. It just times out. Is there any possibility of obtaining a user manual for the K9 Pro?

Update: I was finally able to connect to the page. But there is no user manual there, only a "Quick Start guide. Which itself times out when one clicks on it.

To repeat: Where can I get a full User Manual?

Filters are the sound effects born with the chip, which only has slight adjustments for the sound. Here are some introductions to different filters. These are only for reference since actual listening also has something to do with the matched device.
1) Sharp Roll-Off Filter: full and rich sounds, positioned at the very rear. It is suitable for pop music.
2) Short Delay Sharp Roll-Off Filter: robust, thick and atmospheric sounds, positioned at the rear. With accurate sound positioning and enough sound thickness, it is suitable for pop music.
3) Low Dispersion Short Delay Filter: neutral sounds, positioned near the middle. It is a traditional filter that can match different music styles. If you have no idea about the filter, you can choose this one.
4) Slow Roll-Off Filter: coherent and clear sounds, positioned near the middle. It is suitable for classical music.
5) Short Delay Slow Roll-Off Filter: ultimately untouched sounds, positioned near the front. It can create an immersive music environment with clear and uncontrolled sounds, which is suitable for classical music.
6) Super Slow Roll-Off Filter: soft sounds, positioned at the very front. It is fast with relatively clean sounds.

Best regards

Sorry, there is no complete user manual for K9Pro. But you could find the FAQ page for the answer of most question: https://www.fiio.com/k9pro_faq

I plan to leave my K9 Pro horizontal on a desk. I also plan to run a wired connection from a FIIO player to the K9 pro. I have both the M11 Pro and the M15. Does FIIO have its own DAP holder I can put on top of the K9 pro from which I will feed wired into the K9 Pro?

You may check whether the DK3 could meet your need:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...m=5261.ProductManageOnline.0.0.13714edfSUVZBN

But it does not have stock now. You may be able to get one from the local seller some time later.

Best regards

Thank you. But when I click on this, it just takes me to the main page of aliexpress, not a specific product. And searching for DK3 doesn't show anything.

Is this something FIIO makes, or a 3rd party application?
Dear friend,

Sorry the DK3 is out of stock now. :frowning2: The last one was ordered by other user soon after I shared the link.

Best regards

Hello can the K9 Pro drive high impedance dynamic driver since its only less than 1 ohm as its low output impedance ? As a low output impedance solid state, will it experience low damping factor on 300 and 600 ohms driver ?

Dear friend,
You mean the headphone or amplifier in 1ohm? If your headphone is a 1ohm headphone, it may be too small for the K9Pro to drive.
Recommended headphone impedance16~600 Ω

Am referring to the K9 pro amplifier of course where it has an low output impedance at 1ohm. I am wondering if there will be low dampening factor towards 300 ohms or higher dynamic drivers. Also, I have private message you.

Am I correct that the EQ only seem to work when using BlueTooth? Why is that? Does filters work with all kind of sources? Thanks.
Dear improwise,

1. Yes, the EQ only work in Bluetooth mode.
2. Filters could work in Bluetooth, Optical, Coaxial mode.

Best regards
