Soooo.... I accidently sent payment for an item twice. Has anyone else ever had this happen and if so what did you do. The paypal website seems to be of little to no help at all. It was just under $300 bucks and I sent it twice!!

Any help would be MUCH appreciated . Thanks in advance.

You have to ask the person/company you sent the payment to, to refund the payment :|

Yeah, that's happened to me a few times. Each time the seller caught it right away and issued a refund. I'd drop them a note and ask nicely.

yup..thats basically the only way..unless the person refuse to refund it, then you have to do a chargeback or claim with paypal

If a claim with Paypal doesn't work and you used a credit card, you can get your credit card company involved.

As long as the person on the other end isn't a total dbag, shouldn't be a issue.

Ask the receiver to refund one of the payments. Afaik no other way to work around this.
