Does anyone know how much Eddie currently sells the citypulse for?

I've searched his website but can't see a price.

I have received my DA7.2 II and my AKG K701s yesterday. Is the headphone output that weak or are the K701 that quiet? I have to turn up the volume to max to get something like loud, but then it distorts a lot in the highs. Any suggestions? Will another headphone be much louder/less distorted, like the Sennheiser HD650 or Denon AH-D2000?

Check your windows WAV and line out vollume ... it's probably that.

Citypulse play VERY VERY VERY LOUD.

I've now had my Citypulse 7.2x modified by Discovery Hi-Fi in Bangkok (link in my post above) and can only say good things about the upgrade and the shop. For just 2000B ($60USD) for modded caps, power supply and low pass filter I'm very very impressed. Comparing two modded units there we found the power supply upgrade is particularly significant. Really a terrific shop if you're in the area.

Could somebody please explain to me what exactly upgrading the capacitors does, also whats the general consensus regarding amount of burn-in and finally could somebody please more information regarding the blue-tak mod

Burn-in time seems crazy long. My unit sounds completely different (better) than it did four months ago, with the most dramatic changes kicking in after about three months of regular use.
