Anyone have any more info on this thing?
In terms of looks, the front looks ugly..... but I wonder what it's got under the hood.

My guess is it is (even if it is 11 days late). He said the 1'st of august, and on that day he added the Lite DAC. hopefully this is what he was talking about.

I still don't understand the reason behind the built in headphone amp. But I guess it just like the Benchmark having a built in amp. I would much rather not have a headphone amp in my DAC. The money I could save could help me ship it faster

Yes.

"Citypulse DA7.2x" previously referred to as "SuperDAC"

From Eddie's previous emails it has:
*BB1796 converter
*Class A transistor output stage
*Balanced XLR and Single Ended RCA analog outs
*Headphone amp and front jack
*Dual voltage operation 115/230V (manually switchable?)

"Sound solid and fast" (sic) :)

Hm, looks like it's quite a bit more then the Zhaolu 2.0A, at 313$us + shipping (287$ promo for first 50 orders).

the silver color looks better then the black to me.

Hm, I would like to know how it compares to a stock D2.0A.
Does anyone have any more pictures of this DAC?

I was seriously thinking about it, but 287$us + 71$ shipping is a too much money for me at the moment.

At this price point, I question if it will have the FOTM success that the zhaolu 2.0 had. Especially now that Wu is placing a sticker on each unit to detect people opening it up (much less mod-user friendly).

Either way though, I will be interested to hear peoples views on it, and hope there are no problems with it like some of the Zhaolu's had.

Yeah we really need a guinea pig.

Maybe in a month or two I will volunteer, if nobody else has by then.

I am itching to hear how it compares to the big Z(haolu).

The dac looks like it has promise. But of course all that matters is the sound.

So who is going to purchase one?Go ahead and pull that credit card out and do your duty.
