A New Budget IEM! JVC HA-FX102! (updated for 2015)

the 102s are easy to drive though.
I just sand the sharp edges off with a nail file,
I just tried the FXH30s up and tried different tips. They do sound better up, and they do sound different with wider bore tips but I am not sure that it is better. Maybe with bigger bore they are closer to an all around iem, but with the stock tips it's like playing lazer tag with fairies will riding a dragonfly through cat tails over a pond in summer. Or they sound good.

I like the 102/202 better than the 101/201 for bass. Both are good. If you get them and enjoy them I would recommend getting the new HA-FX33X which is the newer japan only version of the HA-FX3X which is very difficult to get authentic versions of.
Having said all of this, I realize that I have all of these and tend to reach for my HA-FX201X more than any other, even though they can be bought for $15.

JVC FX101 vs FX 102 which one more bassier, punchy, deep and solid bass

I'm a basshead

I found the 102/202 to be a solid upgrade to the older 101/201 models. They're much smoother in the treble and their bass digs deeper, although I personally think the 101/201 hit harder. If getting the newer model, get your nail file ready because it has some sharp edges that can make them very uncomfortable. That's the only true step back JVC made with the 102/202. Other than that they sound better and feel significantly more durable (cable especially...thing is beef as #$%^).

As @aafanatic said, if you can get the HA-FX33X do it. I've still got a legit version of the original FX3X. Ten thumbs up.

Ok mean 102 more boomy and stronger bass than 101
I'm very confused choose 101 or 102
I look review 101 at goldenears.net characteristics 101 bass relative to midrange is boomy 3/5 and bass texture
is solid 2/5
therefore I am looking for a comparison of 102 and 101 are 102 better bass than 101
