The very people who built this forum are NOW the one's who pay the price.Without the members who made this forum it is worthless.Head-Fi should keep its fingers crossed should another Forum arise because many would leave.
 
The problem with advertising driven sites is they do not know when to stop.Another fine community dumped for the Dollar.

I agree.  While I am sympathetic to the desire to have a revenue model, creating a forum that makes it harder for the member to read is counter-productive.   This forum seems to have traded a nice "customer service-oriented community" for a revenue stream.
 
The Home Theater Forum went to this Huddler software as well and it drove folks to other music and video sites like the AVS Forum.
