Hi all, I'm not the most active poster around here, but that's because I'm usually busy working on music rather than listening to it. Though I was an audiophile before I was a musician, which puts me in a unique group of musicians who really (like really really) care about how their music sounds and measures. So, over the past five years, I've taught myself what many consider the dark art of mastering music for commercial release, and in the linked video I walk you through my process from start to finish in about an hour. I thought Head-fi might get a kick out of looking behind the scenes at how music is made, so I figured I'd share the video here if that's alright. A quick glance at the forum topics feels like this is the best spot, but feel free to move it if need be.
