I have a couple of questions about these ear phones. What is the flip flop mod and its benefits? Also, does anyone know if you can use these without being over the ear? I would prefer to use them just hanging down. And lastly what is the longevity of the cable is it really as bad as some say? And anyone want to give there 2 cents on SQ? Based on the reviews it sounds like they are really good but some advice is always nice.

I've got 5pro and HFM-601. I'been using these phones every day for 6 month, the cable is like new. I like how they sound, the only problems I can mention is a little lack of Highs and sometimes too much bass, while the rest 90% is OK. As for me, it is rather comfortable to wear it over-the-ear.
