Just saw this guy on eBay selling new HD580s with 2y warranty for US $169.95 and thought maybe someone wanted to pick up a pair while they can. He had 34 pairs available, and with 100% feedback I guess he should be a reputable seller, although I have never bought anything from the guy nor do I have any sort of relation to him or his company.

I got got my back up pair from him a few months ago. It's a good deal I don't remember how much my first pair from Amazon cost but not much less.

Amazon got as low as $74 at one point. I snagged four.

He only just got these new ones in early January. He had definitely run out at the end of December. I emailed him wanting a second pair at the beginning of January and he had completely sold out!

Dammit, since I saw this thread yesterday, I've been trying very, very hard not to pull the trigger on these. I'm VERY tempted, But I think I'll hold back and get the HD600 or HD650 instead...

I would get these, but I just ordered a Pico and GS-1...wont be spending for awhile.think my next purchase will be headphones though, either grado SR 325i's or some HD600'S
