Probably just a misconception by many people, I for one thought the BC types often where more low in frequency than on the paper here. Dont think Nicolas have mentioned where the BC is aimed at either

LRA BC drivers are like mini motors that do impact the mid bass and give that haptic response. Idk if kinera uses those types but I believe EE uses these types. The sonion ones are different as are the full range ones like in shokz headphones

That's great news, though I guess it's not strong enough to be a therapeutic dose of bone conduction. However, according to DDMonster it will induce a boner. So there are off-label uses.

Fir Audio uses Kinetic bass ports that fire into the concha of the ear. Depending on ear shape and how the iem is seated there can be a lot of sound leakage. I know in my case it was bad and the Mrs. threatened to though me down on the ground and choke me to death if I bought them.
