AüR Audio Alita
Some shots for the review, I will try and finish during Easter. More easy to work with simple designed shells

Looking forward to the review. Been thinking of a mid centric one for a while now.

New AüR Audio model is out soon, been shared only a few teasers. Codename A234. That number 2 look tastefully done for my bass cravings 😁

Number 2 and number 4 are my favourite I think. One warm and weighty, one more balanced.

I will just leave this here …. yep three switches.

So, what are we thinking here; switch 1 and 2 for frequency, and 3 for gain???
Personally I don't mind switches, just make it better for more to enjoy it. We all prefer different sound so, I loved NP with it on and most others with it off. Most due to the sound being less tilted toward the brightness with it on.

Had some photo fun last day, here with AüR Audio Aure + Clan Audio Type 6 Litz Copper

Really enjoy the Aure still, even without switches 😉

I still immensely enjoy my Aure as well... I am glad I bought these when I did (or I would have missed out altogether). When I first bought mine, I had a short conversation with our hermano @FranQL, and immediately pulled the trigger (I kid you not, it was a 10 minute conversation before I went from not having heard of them, to "ordered"). I was right to trust his hearing for these. :)
1. AuR Ascension

2. AuR Neon Pro

3. Letshuoer S12 Pro

And I am absolutely genuine on number three regardless of budget price. They edge out my IE600 and Campfire Solaris despite that at full retail the Solaris should have cost 12 times the price.
I am right there with you.

  • iBasso IT-07 (6BA + 1 DD)
  • Aur Audio Aure (6BA + 1 DD)
  • Raptgo Hook-X (1 planar + 1 piezo)
  • Raptgo Bridge (1 DD + 1 BA + 1 piezo, and speaking of switches)
I put all four at a very close race at the top of the heap (though all sounding different) and none of them broke the bank either.

They really should hire you for their PR, your pictures are always so good. :)

Pretty sure all three switches will be associated with different parts of the frequency range. Lows, mids and highs logically. I have not bothered to study the graphs to see what changes between them.

I am sure someone else has.
I'm rather neutral about switches, more of a set it and forget it guy. BTW do we know the driver composition of AEHTA?

It was “code name” A234 so one would think 2 x DD, 3 x BA and 4 x EST but that is speculation.

That said I don’t think Abel does anything without some reason behind it. Like the 8 graphs, they didn’t mean general tuning options, they meant options due to switches, a subtly hidden clue.

Seems logical that the 234 thing means something rather than just being his favourite number 😂
