I don't know the OG price tag (I suspect you are correct about that) on these, but just before they were discontinued, they were $425US or $545SG. I was in the last group to receive them.

If I were to compare them to other IEMs out there (in build, sound, etc...), I would put them more akin to $800 to $1K IEMs. Its only real weakness is the DD, and that is only because they were at the mercy of those that made it (the exact reason they decided to discontinue and move on to the Aurora with an "in house" transducer, from what I understand).

Having said that, in the grand scheme of things, I don't actually think the DD is bad by any means in it. I am only mentioning it because Aur themselves admitted as much.

If someone has a Neon Pro and would like to trade for the Aure (green), he can look in the classfied section and contact me.

I offer the Aure because I mainly listen to electronic music and not often to music with vocals, which is where the Aure really shines in my opinion.

I was able to listen to both in the same time and gave up the NP due to the bigger nozzle (3d printed version) which was getting uncomfortable after some time.
That's why I prefer the old semi-transparent NP.

When our manufacturer introduced us the special grade magnet, we were very happy because it can bring our AüRists listening experience to a new level.

The special grade DD needs longer time to manufacture therefore Ascension is been delayed

Lastly, Ascension will be same price as Neon Pro During Preorder period. After that it will be 1010 SGD

We don't know but this isn't important. AuR are very picky regarding their components. So if they decided to use a particular EST driver it perorms to their standard. And their standard is very high.

Two examples: firstly they discontinued Aure because they considered the DD there not good enough; secondly they delayed the release of their Tribrid because they waited for a new DD that satisfied their requirements to enter production.
