Have tried both bass switch on and off. Reverted to bass switch on for IMO warmer and fuller sound and versatility. For some genres e.g. female vocals, classical music and e-guitar I so far prefer the bass switch off, but then I nudge the volume up slightly.Abel's tuning is top notch.And did your initial impressions have the bass switch on or off? Either way welcome to the club. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here

Just recieved my "Christmas Edition" Aure today. These are not going on the burn rack. Going to burn them in the old fashion way by listening to and enjoying music.

Said to be w shaped signature with great vocals. The ISN H30 and Penon FAN 2 also has a W shaped sound. Curious how it would sound compared to either of them.

Had the opportunity to demo the Aure yesterday, and goddamn it is good. It’s exactly the type of sound signature I was looking for. I am a big fan of forward mids, and the Aure is perfect for me. Sadly since I’m a student, I will need to save up for it
