AÜR AUDIO IEMs

Negative unless you cannot fit large IEMs in your ear than SA6 is great option.

If it doesn't fit YOU or YOU cannot listen for long periods or BRAND has bad quality control, then the IEM is total trash. No matter how much praise its given by the mainstream.

SA6U maybe due to better treble extension. I enjoy my SA6U due to its leaner and more analytical presentation and smaller size. I can sleep with SA6U on all night and it's comfortable.
Impressive put together, when owning a Neon Pro is there any reason in owning the SA6?

From my experience with qdc families they have different purposes:

qdc Anole VX
▶︎ Easily highest resolving among all, nicely versatile with 3 tuning switches

DUNU SA6
▶︎More all rounder tuned VX, with less versatile but very pleasant timbre that never exhaust audiences (VX on harsh settings may cause “hmmm too resolving!” Type of too much feeling.
▶︎Vented Sonion 38 woofer is very nice and dynamic feeling on SA6

See Audio Bravery = Neon Pro
▶︎more younger generation oriented qdc tuning = U-shape, specialized in coloration for female vocals and high transparenc. On a hot summer day, rainy and cloudy sky, you may want Bravery instead of warmer SA6.

TRI Starsea
▶︎A baby VX, with a little off gain spots and more U-tuned signature, it still has 2 tuning switches which comes in handy, very good IEM around $100, if the bass DD updated to modern LCP ones.

So keeping SA6 is an insurance that if you want more warmth and more all-purpose usage with less technicalities.

Still, SA6‘s technicality is pretty satisfactory for many playing format unless you are going for hi-res class, of which VX and possibly Neon Pro when amped properly will show their real potentials of which SA6 I feel is a regular Porsche class sports car when compared hypercar class (like Lamborghini) VX/possibly Neon Pro

I do see a redundancy at some level, so it’s whether you would afford that redundancy or simply trading SA6 away for maybe upcoming new Aur Products🤔

Size is usually never a problem for me, big Norwegian guy with dumbo ears 😅

Can in a way say that SA6 will Fund some of the Neon Pro. Helps when explaining to the wife the next purchase.

for that case, yea it sounds like a good trade. Just to inform you that Neon Pro may sound dry when compared to SA6, if that’s OK, I guess SA6 will be no longer in need

Fan2 shell is really small but Neon Pro has a perfect fit without any issues on long listening sessions.
Here you can see with a better perspective that are not too far.

Are they that much bigger than Fan 2 or is that just an optical illusion?
Neon Pro is definitely bigger but fit good in medium / large ears

FAN 2 gives a little illusion of being smaller also, the inside part is actually almost as big as my EST50 that is on the big side. Not to mention the nozzle angle on the Penon.

Anyone compared the FAN 2 to Aure?

Ordered the Neon Pro, 1month wait isn't the worst waiting time. Have a nice collection of cables, might have to get something that the NP deserves since the best ones I have is matched with IEMs already. At least if the stock cable is nothing special.

NP is sensitive to sources, cables and tips too.
I like it with CEMA PS but is good with Ares S too, depends on source

I'll be honest the cable isn't special but works well with the NP. In stock form the NP is fantastic.

But cable roll it with Wagnus Lemonade Moon with an emphasis on high frequencies (Sound = Fresh high-range, juicy mid-range, groovy low-range, clear, balance and separation) and TRI Clarion ear tips that reduces the sub & midbass, pushes the vocals forward and increases soundstage and throw in a balanced source... Audio Nirvana.

Product page of Lemonade uses alot of exaggerated poetic words 😅 don't doubt it's good. Still above what I have ever used on a cable.

Actually got Penon Mix modular cable arriving tomorrow, should be a good one from my experience.
