That wait is the absolute worst. It's like you're counting milliseconds.. Feels like an eternity . Alot of my purchases are related to how soon i can get something.

Difference between calyx and arm2 imho is that calyx makes almost every iem sound like the goat, but arm2 has a special tuning. Ar-m2 awesome for headphones, single dynamics, tribrids etc... It doesn't go well with my U18s imho. Both are still the goats imho.

Very true statement about the Calyx M. I mostly have single DD, hybrids or tribrids. The only full BAs I have are not bright sounding, so let’s see/hear.

When i purchase a new iem and put it through testing, i don't even use calyxm because i found it makes pretty much everything sound awesome and that's like cheating.
I don't introduce iems to calyx until I'm out of the honeymoon phase.
The main difference between Calyx M and Acoustic Research AR M2 is that M2 is not so warm sounding, has a bbigger soundstage and a bit more natural sounding. I have two M2 that is how much I love it. To my ears Calyx M and M2 are the best sounding daps. You can still improve the sound by adding an amp like Romi BX2 plus, Aroma Audio A100 or Cayin C9
For those of you that are interested in the Acoustic Research AR M2 dap and you can't get your hands on one, you can buy a Cayin N6ii dap with T01 motherboard and after that you buy a Romi BX2 plus amp. The combination of the two sounds the same as Acoustic Research AR M2. The Cayin N6ii with T01 by itself doesn't sound as good as the M2

He maybe meant the C9? I had the BX2 Plus before the C9. The BX2 Plus was a perfect neutral amp, but I ultimately preferred the C9 over the Romi for the Calyx M.
