I got fired after 20 years man.
Had to sell gear.
Even one month later that gear has not yet arrived at the countries of destination.
Post office doesn't cover the cost of the items.
I'm paying from my pocket the refunds.
It's all crap.
When things start to go bad, everything goes bad.
Condolances man. Very unfortunate

Oh no... I don't know you personally, but I am deeply sorry to hear that... It's hard, really...

I wish you all the best and hopefully you get a new job very soon.

Be brave...

It sounds crazy I confess. I have a spare set of the Calyx M/X-Batt module. I have the feeling that Calyx M will sell for USD 1000.- or more, once it has been sold out for good. Getting a 3rd unit would be for speculative purpose only
It might sell for that price indeed. It was priced around 1200 Euros back then (which was a TOTL price in 2014!!) when I got my first unit. So 1k wouldn't be that far off when the JABEN units are sold out. There is a German dealer I found some months ago who is still selling it for 1200 Euros!

What I meant is: I just bought my second unit, which I will use as a spare unit ahahahahahhaa!!!! BUT I am not normal, too. If I have enough money I might send this unit to Romy one day for a mod. Let's see
How much cost the Romy mod? USD 1k if I remember well...

We are the ultimate Calyx M fanboys:smile:

I think so ;-) But the thing is: My first M got modded back then (not by Romi) and some time later I bought the original M again because I reckoned that I liked the stock version better. So it´s always a gamble and shouldn't be done without thinking twice ... that's why I got me a second unit now, so that I have one to experiment a bit (when I have the money) :-)

Do you M owners listen more in charge mode given the battery life? Is there a difference in performance when listening with USB power?
Someone claimed there is a difference. I tested it and didn’t hear any difference except a short „plop“ sound when disconnecting.

I am only listening with battery and charge it every second night or so.
