I really didn't want to make this thread but I could not find a post from Headphone addict that had this info. I want to buy those tysonic 9 volt low discharge batteries that supposedly do wonders for my sr-71a. Also I need a link to a good charger for them. If anyone knows the link for those 2 things it would be much appreciated

There seem to be another 9V battery on their website, but its only 120 mAh. Thats probably not the one either...?

What should be the best charger for Fischer 9V. 270 mAh.?

I have a decent unit (~$14) that can charge the battery in about 15 hrs. (man, that's too long). The nameplate indicates that it can charge 250 mAh. in 13.5 hrs., and it's a timer control, not a smart model that stops charging when the batteries are fully charged.

I found the other choice that cost $16. It's a quick charge type that can charge 270 mAh in about 2 hours !!! I'm very interesting in it, but I really want to know if speed charge may shorter the batteries' life cycle (instead of 1000 times use, it will die after 200 times or something). Anyone own this type of charger and can share some thoughts?

Or I should buy Fishcher Amps ALC24 Battery Charger that cost $85 (the unit + shipping to Thailand).

Which would be the best option SQ-wise:

a low discharge 9V battery( jamato8 said that this kind of battery gives a better dynamics ) such as the Tysonic or a 9.6V( true 9V output ) battery such as the Powerex?

Also, a Lithium 9V 500mAh probably lasts longer, but can it drive my portable amp such as the ones above or it's much worse SQ-wise?

I need to check if these sellers ship worldwide. If not, I guess my options would be pretty small.

For total sound quality the 200mA Tysonic. My charger recharges them in just over 2 hours and they don't even get warm.

Have you tried eBay, Dadozen? It's another easy way to buy things, and there are lots of batteries and chargers from numbers of sellers.
