7Hz Impressions & Discussion

7hz being warmer and thicker is what I like. Based on the freq graphs and review, I can't imagine having something brighter than the timeless. It's already too bright for me in the mids. I like the aria tonality more than timeless, and based on the graphs it looks like the aria is to timeless what timeless is to the s12. Still, it's nice to have an apples and oranges option for planar at these price points.

I don't think I'm into planar so getting the s12 and something like a qudelix 5k seems like a way better deal than the timeless. The timeless also is so unforgiving imo, it needs a decent source and power. I forget about BT with my iphone or pc with it. It also sounds better to me with a $70 leyding cable. It's just a lot of money to throw at it to get a good sound.

His video makes me want to get moondrop spring tips and fh3. Ceeluh7 on here recommended the fh3 as well. I'm interested in the hana and eclipse, but the hana being over 150 and prob not my thing for sound sig will prob go to the back burner. Also, I think crin likes more treble than me, so I'm prob better off with the fh3. Also, that 150 price point.
Try the oratory1990 EQ for your timeless. Finally I can enjoy this device.

EQ works so well on this IEM.

oratory1990's EQ is all over the place mainly because his measurements for IEMs are simply incorrect and also he doesn't take into account other factors that influence sonics like mechanical resonance and distortion.

Try this next EQ on the Timeless, give it some time to adjust your hearing to it and enjoy their sound perfected. :)

Preamp: -1 dB
Filter 1: ON LSC Fc 180 Hz Gain -5 dB Q 0.55 (boost this by +3 dB at most if you need more bass)

Filter 3: ON PK Fc 410 Hz Gain 0.5 dB Q 1
Filter 4: ON PK Fc 50 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 1

Just received these, and I have to say they impress me for their price point - they definitely show what is possible even within budget constraints - they are, admittedly after a short listen, pretty much toe to toe with the FiiO FD7, and ahead of the older, but more expensive again AK T8ie mkII - they’re going to be my new throw around IEMs.

Astonishing looks, I'll give'em that.
Is that a glass showing the driver??

Edit:
Apparently it is:
'CNC Aluminum Cavity&Sapphire Optical Glass Faceplate. As previous model, Eternal also features alumunium CNC cavity, resonating with sapphire optical glass faceplate. This kind of glass is similar to the material used for high-end watches. The sapphire coating is tempered to withstand longtime wearing and accidental fall off. '

Thanks, but I prefer USound 1V1 tuning. The USound curve is my fav so far among all IEM tuning curves.

It’s going to be completely different since it is a dynamic driver. That being said 7Hertz obviously has some talent behind it. 🤞

If I've learned anything from speakers it's that glass and mirrors are very reflective surfaces that cause issues...I wonder if housing an big iem DD behind glass present similar issues?
I guess we're going to find out but I suspect with the proximity so close and that crystal cover really just acting as a faceplate, it'll be minimal. It looks pretty cool. Incidently I've just taken a little break from my Timeless and have my IMR RAH ciem in now. This thing has got a 15mm Beryllium DD 12mm Planar and 10mm piezo. That dynamic slam with all that liquid goodness really is good. Looking forward to hearing the Eternal
