BTW you need to cut Pre Gain by 6dB.
Yes respond to EQ very very well. Just a slight tweak will do and still sounded very clean and detailed. This filters sound very close to the Empyrean without EQ.It responds to EQ really well? I take it you're more than happy with these filters.
Thanks for the heads up on that metal grill wax guard. I've always got a little resin / harder epoxy in the house, so when mine arrive ill mixe up a little bit of that goop and carefully apply a small drop in 4 spots where the grill meets the spout to secure it in place.I'm surprised by how good this is. Crisp, clear, very transparent and detailed. Very well tuned and thee bass is soooo good! However be very careful when changing ear tip, the "metal" looking dust cover on the nozzle is just a thin metal sheet sticker. They actually have 2 spare ones. Broke one of them while changing the ear tips lucky they gave 2 spare ones.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea, what happened is the metal grill is actually very thin and one day if it accidentally broke through say from the centre you would want it to be removed thoroughly so you could apply the replacement they provide. Thanks for the heads up on that metal grill wax guard. Thanks is this is to avoid distortion and clipping right?BTW you need to cut Pre Gain by 6dB.
Understood!I'm not sure if it's a good idea, what happened is the metal girl is actually very thin and one day if it accidentally broke through say from the centre you would want it to be removed thoroughly so you could apply the replacement they provide.
Yes. Boosted frequencies will reach clipping first, and need a Pre Gain cut to prevent clipping distortion. Your Q5K screenshot shows the max and min points on your EQ curve. Max must always be 0 dB or less. Thanks is this is to avoid distortion and clipping right?
