Hey guys, I'll keep it short and simple.
I have $700 AUD, I have 1 website (addictedtoaudio.com.au), and I have that impulse feeling, yo!

Current Main Stuffs:
- Schiit Magni+Modi
- Sennheiser Momentum's (Looking for an upgrade)

I Like:
- Bass
- Mids
- Comfort
- Gaming

I Don't Like:
- Sibilance
- Piercing highs

Music I like:
- EDM/Dubstep etc
- Metal
- Stuff like Clapton

Throw some idea's at me! Cheers.

Have you considered open headphones, for their bigger soundstage?

I think i'm a fan of closed right now as it creates a bit more sub like bass for my ears. I'm open for suggestions though!

So there's HD700 at $695 on that site. Any opinions if they'll be a good option?

Not for music that you like IMO (especially Metal). Best to audition. Oppo pm3 or hd650 maybe?

Getting really mixed reviews about the HD700. Unfortunately where i'm located, auditioning is not an option.

Understandable. Those two are good and comfortable, good bass (but not sub bass). For a step up in sub bass, maybe try to wait for a used lcd2 or he500 (but forget about comfort). Maybe monitor this forum as well.

There's a used he500, but just sold.

Awesome thanks for that. This would be a good option!

Since you don't like piercing highs or sibilance, avoid the HD 700.  The Philips Fidelio X2 sounds like just what you want.  If it's in your budget then the Audeze EL-8 is another option, which is available in both open and closed form factors (the closed one has an exceptional sound stage for a closed headphone, while the open one has exceptional bass for an open headphone).
