So the 70 euros seems like highway robbery to me in the US but not that far from the cost of doing business in Europe?

If those pads can fit in a padded envelope less than 3 cm thick (I think they should), AND if you arrange somehow to have them sent to me in France, then I would gladly help you by shipping them to you from France to the US as a registered letter (yes, in France they allow “small objects” to be shipped as a letter!) for 8,80€ if less than 100 grams or for 13,50€ if between 100 and 250 grams.
