What I like.

The new dock is compatible with all previous (or most) iPods.
You can use the Apple remote with the dock, effectively killing all 3rd party remote solutions available today. Nice.

Sorry but 2 or 3 hrs video is pish , it probably equates to less in reality and i would have loved to watch a film then listen to some tunes on the train, nope i will be out of batteries before the end of my movie.
I think the biggest selling accessory will be big muckle battery packs!
Oh well it looks very nice in black.
PS. i bet the case was added last minute due to the Nano issues!

I would buy the new iPod but never use the video capabilities.
Apple has not named it iPod Video because the battery life is abysmal IMO.

If your daily commute is longer than 3 hours one way, this device is probably not for you. You'd be better off with a portable DVD player. That kind of commute is quite a rarity though. I agree 2 hours is on the low side.
