There's no chance Apple will fix that. Even more with the drop mark so near the headphone socket.

It is still usable, use it.
Or buy one faulty from e-bay and change the parts.

You shouldn't, I repeat SHOULDN'T use any headphones other than Apple earbuds on your iPod.

Apple doesn't support them, they're incompatible. This is the result. Buy Apple (headphones).
