I'm looking for a pair of IEMs for a friend. He's transitioning from the stock Apple earphones that came with his iPod nano to something better, so I think $50 would be a good start. What are his options in this price range?
It would be nice if you could recommend a brand that can be found in Greece (or this site http://www.skroutz.gr/ ) so he can buy them in person instead of an online order.

Thanks in advance!

Great recommendation for dry, articulate, detailed, clean sound. I would also recommend the Vsonic GR04 at $51 and GR06 at $63, which offer more bass, smoother treble, and a wider sound stage.

Not actually... I like what Apple has done also.

Never the less, Lets bring the new audiphiles up slowly.

A dual ba is a good way to do that.

Agreed?

Thanks for the suggestions guys! We concluded to the Apple in Ear Monitors with some spare comply foams I had hanging around, the other options where pretty hard to find in the local stores. They sound great!

Peace
