ok now I know that there isn't as far as I know any thing with 4 drivers out but if you had 2 dedicated woofers 1 dedicated midrange and 1 dedicated tweeter wouldn't you get a extremely good quality balanced earphone?

That would be pretty cool. If the company that produces them is able to balance them to get a great sound, I would expect it to be pricier than the Triple.fi/SE 530, say $600. It will also be huge (hopefully not like a new quadruple.fi that sticks out even more than the triple, but more like a beefier but still comfortable SE530).

I also think Jerry Harvey's Triple.fi EB idea is very interesting, with a dynamic woofer and two armatures for mids and highs.

If it even comes to live, TF10 EB will have two dynamics for mid~bass range and one armature for high.

Oh, okay. That makes it even more interesting!

I guess it will have a nice and warm midrange and gorgeous sub-bass. Jerry Harvey has my full confidence after developing the UE-11, great job there!

Yeah, SE530s have more than enough bass.

Welcome to Head-fi; sorry about your wallet!

And...I love your avatar. I'm viewing this on a 40" Samsung LCD flat-screen from my comfy couch, and for a split-second, I really thought there was a bug! .
