Oh this is great, thank you all for all the well wishes.

Yeah we are really excited about this! I will also do something crazy when the store opens - publish my phone number

heh... Seriously though if any out of town'ers are planning a visit or just passing through please email or call to let me know and I will be sure to meet you there if I am not working at the retail location. I still have the ALO "industrial complex" running which is only 13 blocks away from the store so will be going back and fourth between to the two places.

Not to get too far ahead of the process but do you have an approximate date of opening and address? I'm looking forward to visiting your store.

Hey Roadcykler,

We are shooting for mid to late September but this might be a little optimistic. Address is 4530 SE Hawthorne Blvd, so 45th and Hawthorne. Currently we have re floored, painted, and are installing the display fixtures. At the moment we are working on the small back shop area and need to have the sign made, pending the logo contest.

If it sounds good it is good.

This is excellent news for Portland area head-fiers and anyone of a similar audio interest (and hopefully lots of people will fall into that similar audio interest group).

When you get the store in order you'll have to post pictures of what it looks like and the headphone listening station, Im all about the aural naughtiness.

I'm flying in tomorrow to visit Ken and 32-ohm Audio. I'll be wiring up his custom headphone listening station. It'll feature 6 iMods, with built in Goldpoint stepped attenuator volume controls, built-in Amphora boards, and 1/4" and 1/8" output jacks to allow for an orgy of headphone listening fun and comparison!

See you tomorrow, Ken!

Vinnie
