How about the vsonic VSD1. For me it's better than the mh1c sound-wise and doesn't have its drawbacks (the awful flat cable and moisture issues).

Genres, specific artists are way more important
 
What bands and musical genres do you like?
 
The MH1C's are fantastic sounding but the fit and everything else about it are atrocious.

I am new in this site and this is my first post.
I've read a lot about MH-1C and searched to buy one in india.
But i'm a bit confused. Need your help. Both MH-1C and MDR XB 30 EX are available at same price ( $33) here. Which one should i buy? I am also open for other options. My budget is max $40. I mostly listen soft rock kinda indian songs.

So.. I just got my  LG HSS-F420 and they are either bad or fakes.

They have ZERO bass. I mean, I EQd the hell out of the music and still no bass. Are they fakes? They just sound bad, but they were highly thought of.

I've never heard of those LG being highly thought of. The only posts I could find besides other smaller forums were your own posts?
 
They are marketed as having bass, and if yours doesn't, then they probably are. When a consumer company says their product has bass. YOU KNOW that means wub wub wub. 
 
You spent $35 on them!?....oh dear god. Brainwavz, MeeElectronics, Jlab, SoundMagic are the names in sub $50 good earbuds.

Are you sure you have a good seal? If not, you definitely won't be able to get good bass out of any IEM.

My ear canals are not the same with each other, one fits just a tad bit smaller ear tips than my other which is a huge pain.

I did a fairly good amount of research on the model. Quite a few reviews and posts about them on this forum. I'll just give them away I guess, oh well.
