I just saw someone posted the Monk+ in a Reddit thread. How are they compared to the originals? I really like the original Monk, but they make my eyes feel like they're going to pop out of my head after 30 mins of use. Not sure they're just too bright or what, but they are very harsh for Top40 music. If I go past 10 volume on my PC, they give me fatigue even faster than 30 mins.
 
Do the Monk+ have this same issue?

in fact, I did not care about the output impedance of the amplifier, since I do not use iEMS, but I could measure, if you teach me how to do it correctly..

Yeah I have an RA plus. I don't have a meter tho lol. @zhibli06 do you have an actually ohm output on it?
 
 
I barely have it past 60% with my 250ohm DT770's and its at my max listening level. with the Zen's I'm around 50-55% on the knob and its perfect. Like I've said in previous posts its gotta be close to 600ohm if not more.

• What is the power output from the headphone out into different loads?

• What is the output impedance on the headphone out?

goes to show some products are way overpriced. I like how VE company conducts their business. Regardless of how insane the demand for the monk is, they keep the price at what it is. Kudos to Lee. This is why there will be support for VE.
