I got 4 pairs of the Monk V1 and I'm loving them.  Anyone have any insight into if/when VE will release an earbud with inline mic? I'd like to order a whole bunch of these so I have spares and for my family but a mic makes them more flexible for everyday use.

You won't believe but my friend also uses 75ohm adapter with his Zen 2.0 and finds it better with.

For me with Clip Zip it's not working.

With my original monks, to my ears, the sound became less echoe-ish and bass more linear with the adapters. Also gave me a better volume control on my Xduoo x3 - Fiio Q1 stack.

I have previously seen your posts regarding the 75ohm adapter and the original Monk but I can't see any posts regarding your use of it with the Monk Plus. Would you be kind enough to link to them?

I'm not sure if you're saying that it does improve the SQ on the Monk Plus, or saying that it should improve it based on experience with other phones? I understand the general concept behind the increased resistance but, presumably, the SQ effect will differ from phone to phone. After all, if increased resistance was guaranteed to improve SQ every time, every phone produced would be 400 ohms.
Can anyone give an overview of what effect a 75 ohm (or greater!) adapter actually has on the SQ of the Monk Plus? Just wondering if I should order one (adapter, that is. MPs are still on their way).

I pulled the trigger and ordered the bocur 75ohm adapter cable, pure copper version. I want to hear what this thing does to the sound of the monks.

Sorry, but if I understand correctly the adapter will be relative from your source 

output, so the results won't be the same as expected. Great reading from meier audio "impedance optimisation".
