Received my Purple monks earlier today and they honestly look stunning, the promo pictures did not do the finish justice in my opinion - purple is my favourite colour so I'm biased but my only qualm here is only having purchased 2 pairs for myself, pretty sure I'll be getting a few more soon enough.

Probably be posting a couple pictures of them tomorrow once I have a little bit of free time. In other news, the Candys just shipped from Beijing today according to my tracking so that's awesome too!

I wholeheartedly agree, the purples are stunning. Not only my favorite color, but my daighter's, too! She was so excited, that she put the Red Monk+ down and hasn't listened to any other color since the Purples arrival!:flushed:

Heavy praise for the purple rain. :-) Maybe I shouldn't have checked this thread.

But seriously, for an iPhone, will the 1 button mic work at all? Or should I get the iOS version instead? I'd like to save a few bones if possible.

For all earbuds and IEM's best to avoid buttons unless you really need them. It adds many more points of failure. Maybe one button is a good compromise. And that one button does come in handy!

I received my Monks a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with the sound. Only problem is the lack of isolation and sound leakage. Does anyone know of IEM's with similar sound signature to the Monk that cost less than $30? Thanks.

They look amazing and all but is there anything $25ish cheaper that can compare to the Monks?

I hope you get a good answer. I am looking for the same. Really enjoy mp's but lack of noise isolation means that they're only useful at home or very quiet libraries. Even a cafe with moderate noise prevents me from using the MP's.

Love the Tennmak Pro's. $21. Good full sound. Out of deference to Lee, I will only say that the sound is an excellent compliment with similarities to the Monk+. PM me if you want more.:beers:

My Royal Monk has arrived here in town, but sadly didn't manage to make it before Thanksgiving, so shall have to wait for after the Holiday.  I'm looking forward to giving the 3 button mic variant a try.
