This is something that would appeal greatly to people with smaller ears, like my wife. She loves her Monk, but she does complain that it's a bit too big for her ears. A more compact version would certainly fit better.
 
Or, just make it an IEM already!

I would be in on a smaller Monk. While I love both the original, and the plus; they are just too big for my ears and longer listening sessions. I still try for longer, but a smaller Monk would solve that problem. ray_tone1:

Those look to be the same size as the Monk. I'm talking Fiio EM3 size.I'll wait for the Mini-Monk.

Nope they are smaller than the original Monk's shell.

I remember them being more or less the same, except the EM3 was shaped a little differently (more like the Remax)
 
I'm sure someone can post a comparison photo, there must be tons of people here who own both, I would but my EM3 are at the bottom of my girlfriends purse somewhere and I'm not going digging for them
