Any reasonably priced amp/dacs that people can recommend for these headphones?  Ordering a pair tonight and can't wait!

I have and use both the Fiio a3, and e6. Love them both. Topping NX2 rates very well, and well respected here.

They sound marvelous out of my oneplus one phone streaming Radio Paradise .
My UD H01 on the desktop too. I will have an X1S here soon and a new psu for my audio-gd NFB 12 too but I think anything at all will do.

I received another two Monks today, but noticed one has two R earbuds. I used a youtube headphone test to determine which one was the left channel and which one was the right channel, so it was not a big problem. I just put a piece of sticky tape on the proper right side, but I suspect someone out there might get one with two L earbuds.

So, are these warmer or are they bright? I keep hearing both. I personally hate any bright sound. If these are warm, I want to get a few.

Why not order 1 pair first and try it out for yourself? I mean, the monks don´t cost a fortune. ;-)

I just bought a Cayin C5 and with bass boost turned on the Monks sound really amazing (without bass boost I find Monk to be a bit unbalanced with too much focus on upper frequencies...). Cayin C5 creates a really big soundstage, so if an earphone/headphone already has got a wide soundstage, it becomes really huge.

It's not the cost. I just don't want to go through the hassle of opening up an Aliexpress account for nothing...

Monk is not nothing but a true gem that goes well with every genre.

If I only knew what its frequency curve looks like! I just don't like bright headphones, no matter how great they are otherwise.

There is a freq curve for Monk in other thread.

Hey I have a pair with two "R" labels as well haha. But mine is a mic version so it's easier to tell which side is which
