Well they announced their limited run wooden wireless headphones ATH-WB2022 for $2700... stupidly priced but limited so it evens out I guess.
Yes, the price is ridiculous for a wireless headphone. With that said, I’m interested to see how Audio Technica has these tuned.

Don’t know what to make of it……. Weird product at even stranger price point.

There are more than a couple 60th anniversary product releases than expected, a multi kilobucks wooden closed back headphone, diamond tipped-Cartridge, desktop Acrylic turntable, and a Soundburger 😂 are the couple of stuffs I've spotted, not sure whether Audio Technica thinks their open back legacy is as well established as their woodies closed back are to make them come later than that but maybe we can hope?

Kinda sad they abandoned DSR9BT's fully digital design, they have something unique going there.

Yes, it sure is different. True dual mono design is indeed special. What I don’t get is the price and not including even the basic noise canceling feature. DSP via app would be nice too. Someone could actually consider it for their asking price.

P.S
Battery life seems super limited. 9hrs out of the box. Probably less in real life. And gradual degradation over extended period of ownership. At least they offered a free battery replacement service with purchase.

Got Violectric V222, if you have the chance, try it or v281, perfection with the adx5k!

How did you like it?
A lot. It was V280 I think. It wasn’t mine.
Enough warmth to conquer some of that top end energy and good solid state bass.
It was a nice match.

GSX Mini was also very nice. More neutral. A hint of warmth but not a lot. Pretty impressive bass.

Yeah, i have not tried v280/281 but I think those sound the same or close to V222 based on comments. Gsx-mini actually was also on my list for the next amp.

GSX is probably a much better choice for it's versatility. Should have a better chance to work with various headphones since it's sound signature isn't very imposing. V280 can be found for cheap tho. And works great with specific HP.

Hello everybody!
I'd like to ask a question about possible problem with grattle in left driver. Something making driver buzzing, but not always.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? I have checked all visible pieces of hair and removed it. Maybe I missed something?
Thank you!
