If you think the HD265 is the perfect headphone you could try the AIAIAI TMA-1. I found them both to share a similar signature. The HD265 was way too bassy for me though, as is the TMA-1.

Tried TMA-1 for portable, selling them because they're awful to my ears with progressive rock/metal. Going to try HD-25's for that as on the go cans. The search for decent on the go cans is harder then for home usage; one becomes too critical (or simply put; spoiled) once heard decent (mid-end) headphones.

Negakinu, with the HD265 Sennheiser was close to building a headphone that was closed but sounded so open and balanced that you could put a pretty high price tag to it, despite its plasticky build quality. To bad for them they did not...

My favourite portable is the PX200 II for now, although when I want to feel out of this world taken up by the music the K181 DJ gets my preference. The K181 is quite nice with Classical music too, better than I expected. It has a pleasant low end emphasis with very pleasant detail and sparkle in the mids and highs.

We need more amps, no?
I'll be in Amsterdam that weekend with the girlfriend, she gets the saturday, I get the sunday. But no worries, she'll be silent playing on her iPad

The Behringer has a pretty nice headphone amplifier. But variation would be nice indeed and a cMoy is not everything. Who needs a cMoy by the way? I have a cMoy for whoever wants one...

I was communicating with McProgger a week ago about possibly shipping a headphone to him. I though then that he lived in Iceland. I don't know anymore why, but I thought that.
He doesn't, he lives in US.
Now Ultrainferno also names Iceland, strangely coincidental.

Enough offtopic, looking forward to the meet.
Do we have enough tables to put our different stuff on?

Last time we managed, but a few small chairs wouldn't hurt.
