I did like The National - High Violet.  I'm also really enjoying Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago.  Hopefully Arcade Fire - The Suburbs will be up there.  It's already available on the web but I think I'm gonna wait for the proper release.  MGMT - Congratulations got some playtime for a bit.  Ratatat- LP4 was good.  Oh right, Vampire Weekend - Contra is definitely in there.  I enjoyed She & Him - Volume Two also. Owen Pallett - Heartland was very good.
 
That's all I can think of.  If I were to rank these 1-5 and leave out the rest, I think it would be:
1. Vampire Weekend - Contra
2. Owen Pallett - Heartland
3. The National - High Violet
4. MGMT - Congratulations Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago
5. She & Him - Volume Two MGMT - Congratulations
 
To be honest though, I didn't like Congratulations or Volume Two that much.  I think I will like The Golden Archipelago more (I've only listened to it once so far so I didn't feel like I had enough of a taste to pass judgment on it yet) and hopefully if The Suburbs is as good as Funeral or Neon Bible then it will probably fly to the top of the charts.  My friend didn't like it though, so I don't know... he didn't like Neon Bible either though, so maybe it's just different tastes.
 
I'd like to actually go through all my music and organize by year sometime.  It's pretty interesting seeing which years have produced the most music I like and whatnot.  I'm fairly certain there are albums that have come out in 2010 that I like more than the ones I've listed, but I just can't think of them.

I really liked Delorean - Ayrton Senna, and I have Subiza but haven't really given it a proper listen yet.  It didn't grab me as immediately as Ayrton Senna but I plan on giving it another chance sometime.
I also enjoyed Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me, but it's not really a heavy playtime sort of album for me, so I don't really know what I think of it yet.
I just downloaded Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute.  I've listened to 3 songs so far and they were all quite enjoyable.  They were In This World, Midnight Hour, and Just Begun.

Minus the Bear - Omni (smooth, somewhat dreamy Math-Rock)
Wolf Parade - Expo 86 (Wolf Parade up to their usual stuff, maybe a tad darker than previous work, still excellent)
Free Energy - Stuck on Nothing (shades of The Strokes in this one, yet more laid back, I feel like I should have well-worn jeans and chucks on when listening)
First Aid Kit - The Big Black & The Blue (A folky acoustic Tegan & Sara?)
Tift Merritt - See You On the Moon (Still churning out quality albums, she's good lookin' too, that doesn't hurt!)
Foals - Total Life Forever (More focused, they seem to be finding themselves on this one)
The New Pornographers - Together (Yup, they are still great)

The Black Keys, Scorpions, Sevendust, Flogging Molly (live album, awesome!), and Deftones - Diamond Eyes which has become my new favorite album of theirs (sorry White Pony but you'll always have a place in my heart). I've been listening to it on repeat for a couple weeks now. Brilliant album!

Any Sugur Ros (can't figure out the accent over the 'o'...) folks enjoying Jonsi's first solo?  I may be in a minority of listeners who really liked the band, but thought that their take on the post-rock long cinematic/orchestral buildup & crescendo wasn't nearly as effective as Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, etc.  I kinda longed for 4 minute versions of that, and voila!... anyway, that's my fav release so far in '10.

Your saying Jonsi's new album consists of 4 minute Sigur Ros songs?  I will check it out.  Takk held my attention well but Agaetis Byrjun is just too slow for me in most moods.

Cowboy Junkies - Renmin Park
This one's growing on me -- a lot.  It's pretty different for Cowboy Junkies, so it took some getting my head around it.
 
Once you let is soak in, though, it's like a sonic waltz through China, as narrated by Michael and Margo Timmins.
(Supposedly the album was mostly written by Michael Timmins while on a 3 month stay in China.)
 
It's really exciting to hear that this record is the first of 4 records called the "Nomad Series" that the band plans to release in the next 18 months or so...

I will be picking up a copy of Flamingo, by Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers... It seems to me like the album with the most potential for greatness this year.
