I need a nice one for my rig, about 2-3 feet would be nice. This is going to my headsix from my computer so the regular portable mini won't work too well

Thanks, can be DIY or retailer.

I want to know this very same thing but I doubt anyone will post as many believe that buying any cables at all beyond radio shacks are insane.. I say go and buy a freaking belkin... actually I am curious if any of these cables actually really affect sound quality.. I have never heard it myself.. but hey Im open to new things

If you want quality on the cheap, relatively speaking, then go to ebay and search for "zu pivot." You can pick up a new 0.5 or 1 meter Zu Pivot for under $40. Usually, it is advertised as a mini-to-RCA but if you read the auction, you will notice that Zu will terminate it as mini-to-mini if you wish.

Different cables do sound different. I wouldn't have believed it until I tried for myself, comparing the Cardas mini-to-mini to a couple of cables made for me by HiGHFLYiN9. There are many cable makers, both DIY and commercial, on Head-Fi. I have experience with both HiGHFLYiN9 and [AK]Zip. They're both great to work with.

I went to Blue Jeans Cable and picked up a 3ft mini to RCA. It was like 33 bucks. I am impressed by the cable and the whole experience. Check them out also.

Audio Advisor has Audioquest's basic mini-to-mini on sale (3m for $10, regular price $50). I haven't heard the cable, but AQ makes quality product, and for ten bucks, it's likely a step up from any similarly priced cable.

Rat shack...if you have the dough, get one made or make one yourself, but arguably, there will be no difference...

It is 9.99 for the cable and 8.62 for shipping. Is it still a deal?
