I'm sorry, is more bassy signature means it's less accurate? less accurate means not natural? Im just checking if I can get any feedback on the upgrade path..Well if you wanted a less accurate and more bassy signature... then why would you post asking about treble?
The Quads Treble is improved and more accurate.

Less natural / not lifelike, etcI'm sorry, is more bassy signature means it's less accurate? less accurate means not natural? Im just checking if I can get any feedback on the upgrade path..
It all depends on your taste, if you prefer alot of bass then its different because that is your taste.
You asked about a headphone with better treble, the quad drivers are better and are more accurate and have better microdetail.
I'm not sure what upgrade path you want... if you want bassy IEM's but you also want something that has the treble you are looking for? I have no idea what provides that.
Quads are a definite upgrade over the trebles.
I think I'm going to go for balanced sound. I'm leaning towards the brainwavs b400 based on the reviews.. naturalLess natural / not lifelike, etc

^ Its not balanced at all. Super bloated bass, basically nothing else.
For example this is the triple:

Where if you notice the quads:

It balances the highs where the triples lack, still not perfect but definitely an improvement.
Here is ER4PT (Etymotic IEMs)

ER4S:

Notice the Etymotic IEMs are fairly flat with a peak in the high range. This is normal but will sound "boring" as the bass will be very flat. These are for analytical listening for those who don't like bass (because the bass also decays incredibly fast as CSD graphs show).

Can anyone who have used this for sometime tell me what is the upgrade path is like? I tried a few recently and can't find any that have the smoothness of the treble..
1) "I'm listening to music with these cool IEM's and I'm still living in this dump?" ==> Buy new house/apartment.
2) "I'm listening to music with these cool IEM's, living in this cool house/apartment, and I'm still driving this piece of crap?" ==> Buy new car.
3) "I'm listening to music with these cool IEM's, living in this cool house/apartment, driving this cool car, and I'm still dating this limburger?" ==> Find new romantic partner.
4) "Given my current lifestyle, perhaps my hairstyle could be improved." ==> Get haircut.
Thanks for giving me this view. Data don't lie? The quads looks like a more balanced bass in the lower frequencies. I'll look into that..http://frequency-response.blogspot.com/2017/10/brainwavz-b400-frequency-response.html
